The STEVENSON/STEPHENSON Family of Gedling, Notts. (Mid-Late C18th)

Head of tree is Richard STEVENSON (c1723) of Kirkby-in-Ashfield and his wife Susanna SMITH (c1726), my 6xGGPs, who married at St. Mary's, Nottingham on 4.2.1748.

Their son William STEVENSON (1749) married Mary BLATHERWICK on 22.6.1777 at Calverton in Nottinghamshire (my 5xGGPs). Their daughter Ann STEVENSON/STEPHENSON (c. 31.5.1789 Gedling, Notts.) married Thomas BRADLEY, Farmer, on 1.1.1807 at Gedling (my 4xGGPs). A witness was Sarah STEVENSON, possibly a sister. Their other known child William STEVENSON (probably n. late 1770's) married Ann COWLISHAW in 1799 at Gedling.
