He married either or both Elizabeth DARBY / Elizabeth MIDDLETON on 25.1.1722 and/or 14.12.1724 at Aston Juxta Birmingham. Their children were c. at St John, Deritend & Bordesley except eldest son John (III) c. 20.11.1725 St Martin, Birmingham.

John HAWTHORN (III) married Ann/Anne SMITH on 9.4.1748 at Aston Juxta. Their daughter Mary HAWTHORN married Edward BODEN at St Martins on 9.8.1774.
